Affordable Weddings In An Upscale Atmosphere. The Bride, on her very special day, will walk down the Bridal Pathway with her father or other specially designated person to our elegant Kissing Bridge, to be greeted there by her Groom. He will then escort his Bride into the chapel and walk down the aisle with her followed by the person or persons giving her away. The Bride may also choose to walk all of the way down the chapel aisle with her father
The Chapel in the Garden is situated on 4.5 acres of private parkland in the lovely back garden of the Peninsula Inn and Spa, and is comfortably nestled among old growth evergreen and weeping willow trees. You can have your wedding ceremony, accommodation, and reception all at the same fabulous location! The Chapel in the Garden seats up to 40 guests plus the wedding party and is ideal for those intimate weddings with family members and close friends.
The interior of the chapel is graced with elegant Williamsburg chandeliers with matching sconces, white oak wedding pews, beautiful stained glass windows, vaulted ceiling, harmonized designer green walls with specially designed wedding-white trim on the window frames and baseboards. All of this is complemented with colour coordinated pew bows and altar centre-piece. This concept of “bringing nature indoors” is made complete with lovely teal carpeting. The entire interior design was conceptualized and the furnishings were carefully assembled by Lily Montgomery a well-known Niagara Region Interior Designer. The Chapel in the Garden is unique, and there is nothing like it in the Niagara Region. The only wedding facility that compares with the Chapel in the Garden, Niagara Falls, is the Doctor’s House Wedding Chapel in Kleinburg, Ontario. The Chapel in the Garden is open all year round and is fully heated and air conditioned. The Chapel also features elegant, all-candlelight services after dark upon special request. This special premium package is available with a minimum of sixty days notice.
An outdoor Gazebo is also available for weddings, or it may be used by the bridal party as a backdrop for their formal photographs. Our lovely white Temple of Diana Pergola with hanging flower baskets and lattice-work photo backdrop completes this extraordinary outdoor facility making it unique as well as convenient.
The Peninsula Inn is pleased to announce that the Sweet Escape Body and Beauty Spa is now located in the hotel. Ms. Virginia Loo is a Certified Esthetician and Nail Technician and may be reached at extension 3033 or on line at sescapespa@hotmail.com The Inn also features nicely appointed Honeymoon Suites with Oval or Heart-shaped Jacuzzi tubs, and spacious rooms are available for the other guests of the wedding party. Also featured are an Indoor Heated Swimming Pool, Sauna, Whirlpool, and well-equipped Work-out Room. All of the facilities have handicapped access, and there is more than ample free parking. The Chapel in the Garden specializes in Renewal of Vows Services, and if you are about to celebrate a special anniversary, we can help. We treat all Renewal of Vows services exactly the same as we would a wedding ceremony, complete with music, candles and the exchanging of vows and rings. Included with every Renewal of Vows Ceremony are a lovely Certificate suitable for framing, and a Personalized Keepsake Booklet. In the event that your Wedding Ceremony is to take place at a location other than one of our Chapels, then we can arrange to send a qualified, personable, provincially licensed Officiator [male or female] to your location of choice. Location weddings are a large part of our services, and we will be glad to assist in any way possible to make you day special and hassle-free. We have a large number of associates and so we are able to confidently offer you this option. is included with some of the packages offered, or the couple
may opt to use our excellent CD sound system at no charge. (A
person will need to be designated from among the wedding guests
to play the music.) Very special Photography and Video packages
are available. All Photography is done with professional
quality film and processed by a first-rate developing service.
All Photo Packages now include your pictures on a CD ROM for
emailing to friends and family.
